Residents and visitors to North Lake Tahoe this summer can enter to win $500 cash and weekly prize packages at 35 participating Kings Beach retailers, restaurants and recreation outlets as part of the “We’re Open, You Win Contest”.

The contest is part of a campaign created by the North Tahoe Business Association designed to encourage people to visit and do business in Kings Beach this summer while the entire commercial corridor undergoes major construction project including new highway alignment, roundabouts, sidewalks and more.

“Now, more than ever, is the time to shop, dine, recreate, relax and do business in Kings Beach,” explains Joy Doyle, executive director of North Tahoe Business Association. “Kings Beach has some of the best beaches, plentiful access to Lake Tahoe and is an ideal place to have fun in the sun."

To enter the contest, simply visit any participating Kings Beach business, fill out an entry form and put it in the contest box. A drawing will be held every Wednesday afternoon through September 17. If you entered the week before, you qualify for a chance to win the weekly prize package valued at over $100. All non-winning entries submitted through September 17 will qualify for the grand prize of $500 cash. Only one entry per person per week will be accepted.

NTBA’s “We’re Open for You” campaign is made possible through funding from the Placer County Economic Development Department and transient occupancy taxes.
