Truckee, California’s fifth Historical Haunted Tour will thrill attendees on Thursday, Oct. 16 and Friday, Oct. 17, 2014. The Tour celebrates bygone days in the bustling railroad town with captivating stories offering spooky and unexpected twists.

After a one-year hiatus, this year’s highly anticipated performances will take place at BeSpoke, Bluestone Jewelry, LaGalleria, Masonic Lodge 200, the Railroad Depot, Tahoe Oil & Spice and The Truckee Hotel. While the script is tightly sealed, the producer is sharing teasers. Musician Richard Blair will treat guests to an unforgettable song inspired by the wild women of Truckee, and throughout the evening, tales from more than four decades will emerge from The Truckee Hotel's longest running resident, someone who has seen it all from haunted evenings to middle of the night skirmishes.

“Expect clandestine affairs, carousing, gun fights and unforgettable stories,” shares Tour producer Christina Stoever-Young of Sunshine Tahoe. “We know how to enchant a crowd with incredibly talented actors in a way that makes visitors want to return to Truckee and the Lake Tahoe area every October.” Stoever-Young encourages guests to visit the Tour blog for more insights.

Individual Historical Haunted Tour tickets are available for $40. Visit www.truckeehistorytour.org.

Event proceeds, including a goodie packed raffle, benefit Trails and Vistas, a 501 c 3 nonprofit organization that creates one of a kind art experiences in nature.
