3.6 Earthquake Shakes North Lake Tahoe

As the snow falls from another round of winter storms, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake rumbled through North Lake Tahoe Tuesday evening.

At approximately 5:53pm PST, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake was measured in North Lake Tahoe by the USGS. The epicenter, as reported by the USGS (see link below) was approximately 3 miles WSW of Tahoe Vista, CA.
