New Year's Day brought more fresh snow to the slopes, and SVTV's Eric T. and crew celebrated and took advantage of the superb conditions and the 'bonus day' for passholders to welcome the new year.

With the snow continuing to fall and the early-morning crowds light, the lower-mountain's Squaw Creek and Red Dog set the stage for some fun charging, and a perfect way to start the new year.

Palisades Tahoe Bronze and Silver season pass holders had been treated to a 'bonus day' with restrictions lifted for New Year's Day, and the joy could be heard around the valley.
