Palisades Tahoe Prom A Raging Success

The 7th Annual Palisades Tahoe Prom, held Saturday, February 26th at Palisades Tahoe USA, drew over 600 party-goers, dressed to the nines, for a high-energy night of dancing to benefit two local charities. Tahoe TV was there for a look at the season's most talked about party.

A packed Olympic House at Palisades Tahoe USA held over 600 party-goers dressed in '007' themed attire and set the stage for what is being hailed as 'the best Palisades Tahoe Prom to date.'

"Good people, good vibes, and amazing music. ...and there couldn't have been a greater cause to give to," said Dennis Troy, of Truckee.

"Best Party Ever. Period," added Christina Farias of Tahoe City.

The newly renovated venue in Palisades Tahoe's historic Olympic House was an ideal location, superbly decorated with Go-Bo lights and festive backdrops, which provided ambiance and energy that Mr. 007 - James Bond himself would enjoy.

Musical entertainment from special guests DJ Trick Master Fly, The Silver Boom Box Thief and Skullcandy (Artist Familia) DJ Drez set the beats in motion until 2am.

All attendees were in full costume attire for the post-event costume contest, where winners will be chosen for 'Best James Bond', 'Bond Villain', and 'Bond Girl', which is under way on the Prom's Facebook page. Click here to view the contest and vote for your favorites.
