Ample early season snowfall has put ski season in to high gear, and Palisades Tahoe | Alpine Meadows, two of Tahoe's top mountains have announced an early opening scheduled for this week, with Alpine opening on Thursday, Nov. 12th and Palisades Tahoe on Saturday, November 14th. The announcement brings the current total resort open for the coming weekend to six, including Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Heavenly, Mt.
