“Music on the Beach is a great way to get your summer weekend started," explains Joy Doyle, executive director of the North Tahoe Business Association. “These shows have a laid-back feel and take place in one of the most beautiful settings, with spectacular sunsets unlike any other Tahoe/Truckee music venue.”

On June 26th Groove Foundry will bring decades of musical mastery to the soul-food table. Utilizing a blend of styles, their freight train of funky, eclectic grooves stretches across our American musical history. Whatever soul-jazz or funk flavor you crave... Groove Foundry satisfies the heart, soul, mind and gut.

Miss Lonely Hearts, a not-to-miss Honky Tonk Rock & Roll band from Santa Cruz and will be performing on July 10th. Their sound was created out of a deep authentic understanding and appreciation of the roots country music that evolved in the United States. Miss Lonely Hearts have had their fingers on the pulse of the Nor Cal country music scene since they released their first album “Crying Bottle Blues” in 2012. With their hard driving honky tonk sound, Miss Lonely Hearts has packed bar rooms and dance halls up and down the West Coast and opened for nationally touring acts like The Devil Makes Three, Eileen Jewel and Brothers Comatose.

Music on the Beach will continue with the Buddy Emmer Band from Reno on July 17, Boston based Rapplesauce on July 24, Bluegrass sensations Achilles Wheel on July 31, and local bluegrass band The Wrinkle on August 7th.
