The second annual Tahoe City Grill Fest, rapidly becoming a fall classic, returns to the North Shore of Lake Tahoe at the Tahoe City Marina/Boatworks Mall on Saturday, October 11th.
 
Grillmasters include chefs from Big Blue Q, Dockside 700, Jake's On The Lake, Moe’s Original BBQ, and Smokey’s Kitchen. Each will be bringing their best selections of grilled specialties for the competitive tasting and some lip-smacking fun.
 
“The BBQ smackdown is on again. The Grillmasters are going to bring it!” said Dave “DR” Richardson from Dockside 700.
 
“It’s been a great summer here at Lake Tahoe and we’re looking forward to grilling our best for friends, family and neighbors this fall,” said Shane Mathias from Big Blue Q.
 
Grill Fest judges will be served special tasting portions and pick winners in four categories, including 'Best Ribs', 'Best Chicken', 'Best Tri-Tip' and the 'Tahoe Open'. All Grill Fest attendees will have a chance to vote for their favorite grillmaster, with the winner being awarded The Peoples’ Choice award. 
 
Live music will be provided by Mental Floss. Local artisans will be there too, displaying beautiful and fun hand-crafted creations. Cheri’s Hand Dipped Ice Cream will also be available.
 
Grill Fest tickets are $25 per person for five sample plates & first beverage, or $10 per person for one sample & beverage.
