Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay and Crystal Bay
Saturday, June 7, 2014

when:  9am-1pm

Rain or shine, in Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay and Crystal Bay, over 100 volunteers will take to the streets to pick up trash. Last year, 5,000 lbs. of trash was collected. Registration / check-in stations open at 9:00 am in Kings Beach at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area picnic tables next to the playground (across from Plumas Bank), in Tahoe Vista at Cable Car Ice Cream, in Carnelian Bay at GarWoods, and in Crystal Bay at the Tahoe Biltmore. Volunteers will be provided with gloves, bags and snacks and volunteer appreciation goodies. While cleaning up, volunteers that find “Golden Items” win prizes donated by local businesses. Immediately following the “dirty” work, Clean Up Day volunteers are invited to attend a Volunteer Party with complimentary food and live music at the North Tahoe Beach Picnic Pavilion.
