The exclusive Lake Tahoe Premiere of THE STORY comes to the Crystal Bay Casino’s Crown Room on October 29, 2010. This premiere is an official stop on The Ski Channel Film Tour that is traveling across the country, spreading the message of mountain sport infatuation through ski cinema. THE STORY showcases the unfathomable talent of mountain sports’ biggest stars including the marquee athletes of alpine skiing, Bode Miller and Lindsey Vonn, 2010 XGames phenom Bobby Brown and Lake Tahoe’s own Errol Kerr.

The evening will begin with a very special tribute to international adventure sports legend Shane McConkey with the screening of the new short film ‘Shane & the McConkeys’ which captures a heretofor unseen intimate and personal look at McConkey and his family shot over four days in early 2009.

A robust raffle will take place throughout the evening with prizes including Alpine Meadows Season Pass, a complete Surefoot bootfitting, lift tickets, footbeds, and more. A portion of the net proceeds from the evening’s raffle will benefit the High Fives Foundation and the Shane McConkey Foundation.

Doors open for the Lake Tahoe Premiere of THE STORY at 7:00 pm and the show starts at 8:00 pm. Door charge is $15 and includes 5 raffle tickets. Premiere-goers must be 21+ with valid ID. Tickets are available at the Crystal Bay Casino (www.crystalbaycasino.com) before the event and the evening of the show.

Following the feature showing of THE STORY, Keyser Soze takes the stage for a special free after party in the Crystal Bay Casino’s Red Room.
